For everyone experiencing sorrow, grief, or heartache. A Yogic Pause for Sorrow and Heartache workshop is intended to provide a space to sit with sorrow and heartache in a calm and supportive environment and provide tools so you can you move through the world with more ease. Often society turns away or hurries us through grief and sorrow. Whether feelings are around a personal loss or transition or around what is happening in the world, this is an opportunity to meet sorrow like a wise friend you welcome into your home. Using breathing techniques, gentle yoga movements, reflection, creative expression, readings, sound and yoga nidra, you will be encouraged to settle into yourself, discover the lessons sorrow brings, spend time with like-minded sojourners, and take away benefits that can support the quest to live a full, rich life.
Our hopes for you:
• Identify where in your body grief and sorrow may live.
• Immersion in various yogic practices, such as movement, meditation, focus and sound curated to support emotional, spiritual, and physical health.
• Increase your confidence in managing waves of grief and heartache.
• Allow sorrow and heartache to be present as natural aspects of the human experience.
• Identify practices that best support you.
