Intention-setting + Yoga Nidra at Yoga Sanctuary in Minneapolis MN
Transition into a new year with time set aside for deep rest and recognizing what is most important to you. This workshop will include writing prompts to unfold a heart-felt intention, followed by supported rest for a full yoga nidra practice to seed your intention deep into your unconscious. Class will include some gentle dynamic movement and pranayama to free both the body and mind in preparation for stillness. Yoga Nidra, or “yogic sleep”, is a very healing, guided meditation while your body is fully supported in a resting posture. This is a therapeutic series of guided relaxation practices which allow the physical, emotional, and spiritual layers of ourselves to relax and heal.
Join us the first Friday of each month for a healing experience in community. Each month we will offer a unique healing experience for you, your family and your friends. Each of us, no matter who we are, carry burdens. We invite you to rest with us, in sacred space for these special evening gatherings.
