The Lumbar-Sacral Spine and SI Joint Workshop is an essential short but sweet dive into the anatomy, asana and therapeutics of this part of the body.
Often challenged during and after yoga asana, as well as for teachers in class, we’ll dive into how to safely practice, as well as why we need to revisit our stances, cues and form in poses especially if you have a female pelvis! Many yoga practitioners complain of lower back and/or sacroiliac (SI Joint) pain.
In this online workshop, we will first learn the basic anatomy of the area and then explore the healthy movement these structures allow. Once we have a basic understanding of the structure and function of the area, we will practice asana together with our new awareness.
Devanadi is honored to welcome back guest Judith Hanson Lasater! We encourage you to study with one of today’s most experienced and luminary teachers known for her clarity, experience and passion for yoga. Don’t miss!
Who is This Workshop For? Yoga teachers, yoga teachers in training, yoga therapists, AND serious students. Come with an open mind and be prepared to see your asana in a completely different way!
