  • How I Almost Didn’t Publish My First Book (and Why You Shouldn’t Wait) I wanted to share something personal with you today. If I’m honest, my first book almost never made it to the light of day. I had numerous pages written, but when it came time to turn those pages into an actual book, the doubts kicked in. I had no idea where to start, and the little voice in the back of my head kept whispering, “Is this even worth publishing? Will anyone want to read it?” Those feelings were powerful. I didn’t know the publishing process, I wasn’t sure how to get the manuscript into readers’ hands, and I wasn’t convinced anyone would even care. But eventually, I realized that if I felt a calling to write, someone out there must need to read it. So I made the leap, learned what I could, and took the first step. Publishing that first book changed everything for me, and it showed me how possible this journey really is. And that’s exactly why I’m so passionate about teaching this class. Because if you’re reading this, I’m guessing you have a story or a message that deserves to be out in the world. And I’m here to remind you that someone out there wants to read it, to connect with it, and maybe even to be inspired by it. Publishing doesn’t have to be as daunting as it seems. With the right guidance and some encouragement, the process is totally doable—and your story can finally be out there, making the impact it’s meant to.
